Windows *98*

    Hey Guys!

    I have an OLD pc, with a less than 1 gb hd, 48 mb memory, and can run WINDOWS ME AT TOPS! Well, the pc was COMPLETELY F----d Up so I decided to Reformat. I mad the floppy bootdisk and I hace the installation cd with key. I followed the steps, cleared the hdd so there is nothing but a black screen. Now, My bootdisk didnt work. I tried the free bootdisks offered on the internet. No matter what I'd get some kinda error. Sometimes itll be 98% done with the installation of win.98 and ill be an error. Every bootdisk I download from the internet is different. They seem like they are all different and all missing files. (edit if Im not aloud to ask, please dont deleat the thread mods) Does anyone know whats wrong or where I can get like a full version bootdisk?

    i presume you tried this?? http://www.bootdisk.com/
    change the boot sequence in the bios to have cdrom as 1st boot device & try booting off the win98 cd.
