After I installed windowsXP media edition, I noticed that when I click on a link say for audio/ video clip, that it shows the box for downloading, then media player opens. Before, clicking something automatically would open the media player only and not see any download status box. Any setting to adjust? Program defaults? Thanks in advance for any help.
Thanks for a reply, I'd already set all file types to open with media player. I guess I was trying to communicate that I wasn't used to actually seeing the download status box showing the "%" till download complete. I'd click the link and it opened. I might wait a few seconds for audio/ video to show up, just like I wait a few seconds watching the dowload folder go into the file cabinet. It's not a bad problem, everything functions, its just annoying because I remember it being different and cant remember what the setting was.
