I keep getting the following message if i can get the computer to start at all. the computer runs very slow and message - Windows was unable to save all the data for the file D:\$mft. the data has been lost. this error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. please try to save this file elsewhere. also my second hard drive h: has disappeared all together has any one any idea what could have caused this and how to rectify it
check in safe mode. see if bios sees the drive. see what space left on c:. check for spyware as have a customer with similar problem. had 4meg left on her 40gig hd. found & deleted a 32.5gig folder from hotbar full of shoppers reports.
