I'm having trouble burning movies with the windows dvd maker. When I try to add the avi video file it says corrupted or not valid. It says that for all 11 movies I have. I didnt think I had to convert from avi to something else when using windows dvd maker. Do I? And how?

I want to be able to burn the movies onto dvd's and be able to watch them on dvd players not just laptop.
