I was using System Mechanic to defragment my computer and it comes out with the following error:: System Mechanic encountered a problem while attempting to defragment the current drive C:. This usually indicates physical corruption on the disk surface or other such structural issues. A thorough Scandisk operation(including disk surface scan) is recommended before attemting to defragment this drive again. For more information on Scandisk consult the Windows Documentation. Does anyone know what this is supposed to mean and how to fix it, I am totally clueless on this!!!!!!
why oh why did you even concider that the feedback and suggestions forum would be the correct place to put a question about a computer????? [bold]calling for a mod to move this to a relevant forum[/bold]
Error message says it quite well: there might be some problems with your HD. So make scandisk operations as suggested to be sure.
