XP wants me to install this update that it has downloaded. I read some literature that it is only 80% accurate meaning 1 in 5 genunine owners of XP could find themselves copmletely unfairly penalised. Shocking... Now that XP keeps prompting me to install this update how do I get rid of it? THanks, Dave
Check out this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/361017 There is a check box where you can say don't show me this update again when you are offered the update. Try checking that box. You have to expand the details about the update to find the check box.
