Ok, i'm getting kind of fed up with Windows Live Messenger.

Just recently it has been messing up (Signing me in for about 2 seconds & then kicking me out & a lot of the time it's not signing me in at all).
I tried installing Messenger Plus a while ago & for some reason or another it installed,
but the features of Plus don't show up on Messenger.

I've tried absolutely everything i can think of, including completely removing it from the PC (i think so anyway as there's that many files etc hidden) & removing everything to do with Messenger from the registry.

The version of WLM i'm using is: Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416).
The version of Messenger Plus is: 4.84.0.382.

Any help getting this sorted is very much appreciated.

    Cheers :]

No why for you but is that with a browser other than IE, I have that exact issue with Hotmail if I use Opera, no problem with IE. Edit: on second thought that shouldn't affect WLM.

I don't really follow what you mean here.
Firefox is set as my default browser & i use Opera sometimes (to download music videos off Youtube) & i use IE an odd time.
But i fail to see how that could affect the running of WLM.

I just recently noticed that when i open Messenger, it says Orange Messenger by Windows Live in the top left corner.
Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but i can't think of anything else :/

It can't, I was thinking of Opera and Hotmail.

    Doesn't matter.
After a fresh install of Windows XP all is well again :)
