I have 2 questions regarding this new messenger client.

First of all I get the tooltip (text by holding the cursor over the MSN icon in the taskbar) "Connection error", yet I'm connected. Is this a known bug with the new Messenger? I'm connected through a WLAN router, which I assume could be the problem here.

Second, and perhaps more important. First thing I did after installing the messenger was to add the current messpatch to get rid of all the annoying ads etc. Now the first time I did the patch everything got smooth except for something I wasn't pleased with (I've forgot the particular issue soz guys;p) so I re-patched it. Everything is nice now except for one little thing. After my first patching I had this button in the MSN buttonbar (Show shared folders; Get your own Spac Change your color schedule; Add a contact). Well, to the right of these buttons I had a new button which automaticly got me back to the "top level" after first typing letters (รก la Winamp "J" button function). Now this button is gone. How do I get it back someone must tell me please?!

open up messpatch and enable the "add "always on top" button" function.
As for the connection error tooltip, it could be your router indeed.
But as long as it's connected, who cres ? ;)

But I'm not looking for a an Always-on-top function, but the thingie that gives me a button that takes me to the root level @ MSN Live Messenger sesarch contacts function.

Now I tried to add the Always-on-top button. Anyways it was already pluged, plus no difference. So, any other ideas people?
