WINDOWS LIVE - NO CONTACT LIST HELP ME!

i downloaded and installed the windows live messanger and wen i sign it ses connection error wen i go over the msn icon and wen i get into my account dere arent any contacts. someone help me! PLZ

 

sign in and out several times, its a problem with the new version of msn, it happened to me a couple of times, but its stopped now.

 

aite ive signed in a few times and my contact list still aint dere...... it takes ages to sign in aswel.

 

re-install the old version of msn, and sign in using that, that should get the list back, or sign in using windows messenger 4.7.

 

thanks for the help i reinstalled windows live messanger and signed in and it worked perfectly. but it ses i have been added by someone using yahoo, but i cant see them on my contact list and i duno how to add em.... i duno wot dere add is, but a message is popping up where the number of new emails message usually pop ups. how can i get them in my contact list?

 

Normally new contacts will be added to the "other contacts" category, so have a look in there.

thanks 4 da help da problems sorted....... i had to sign up to da windows live beta fing on da website.... den sign out of messanger and sign in agen and i got da message showing who added me.
