    I recorded some tv shows using windows media center, but I am having trouble editing the videos. How can I edit the videos that I have recoreded? I want to edit the videos in windows movie maker. Thanks.

    what is the video codec that you use to record?
    below are 2 free software to edit some of the common formats that are normally used.

    avi = avidemux
    mpeg = mpeg2cut

    I need help getting the video files from windows media center to a video editing software. Does windows media center use a folder to store all the saved files?
