This is weird. I click on my video files which normally open with WMP 10 are now opening with "Open With" box and obviously not playing. When I choose the WMP, its OK. But when I try to open same file or other video files again, same problem persists. I went into properties of WM10 and set file types to play ALL files. I also checked what the program is set for each of these video files to open with and they are saying they will open with WMP10 yet they still open with "Open With" box. Note: Drag and drop files on the WMP-no problem Open File on WMP-no problem No problem with Windows Media Video files (problem with mpeg & avi, etc. files) But the problem occurs, when I click on the file... It was not so before. What's wrong? Any ideas how to correct this anomaly? Thank you...
That is really weird. It is clearly a problem of file association since they open when you drag them to WMP. Have you installed another player recently?
