Is Windows Media Player 11 supposed to start automatically when a DVD movie disc is inserted or is it necessary to click the play arrow at all times? I think at one stage it did start automatically. Any advice

Go to "My Computer". Right click on your DVD drive and choose "Properties". Then go under the tab "AutoPlay". From the drop down menu, choose "DVD Movie". Tick on "Select an Action to perform" and choose "PLay DVD Movie using Windows Media Player". Click "Apply" and give it a try.

Thank You. Still have to click the play arrow. I was sure it played automatically after the disc was inserted but maybe i`m wrong. Cheers

It probably depends on the DVD structure too, some might autoplay, some will not.
