Hi, I've got a problem with Windows Media Player (11). My OS is Vista Home Premium. WMP works fine, it's just that when I'm in the 'Now Playing' screen, my whole screen becomes a bit more darker (not only WMP, but my taskbar as well). If I switch to 'Library', for instance, my screen turns normal (/bright) again. I've tried the brightness/contrast options in the enhancement menu, but that's only related to the video). Any suggestions how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance
i have that too (wmp11) but i don thave that problem at all. are you running other programs at the same time? the only thing i know that dims the whole computer screen is that divx thing that you use to watch videos on stage6.com but besides that i have no clue. im guessing its a program your running in the backround
Hi, Thanks for reply. I'm not running any other programs in the background. But I've figured out its not WMP. It happens if there is a lot of black on the screen. For instance, a website with a black background also 'fades' my whole screen. Could this be related to my videocard or monitor?
