I'm sorry if this has been answered but I have searched and not really come up with the answer.
A friend gave me a burnt movie dvd the other day that he downloaded from the internet, a short film of about 20 Mb, but will only play in my computer using Windows Media Player.
I want to somehow rip this file off the disc to the hard drive and then rip it back to a dvd so that I can play the content using my stand alone player which is linked to our TV. And I should mention I tried the disc in both my stand alones and it didn't work.
So, is there a kind person out there that can help me?
I should imagine I need to change the format so that then I can burn it to a DVD disc that then will play in most all players.
I have DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and Nero.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks
