hi there, i am having problems with media player... i had WMP9 installed and was working fine, i replaced my 19" monitor with a spanking new 32" samsung HD LCD TV (one screen for all my appliances) but since doing this, i have lost the video playback on media player... i presumed it was a codec fault and downloaded all the latest ones, still nothing... so i have just downloaded WMP11 and installed it, and still no video?!?!? i get audio no problems. i tried hooking up the old monitor, but still no joy. is this a simple "check the video playback box" problem, or am i looking at shelling out for a new graphics card? incidentally... system is AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.5GB DDR ram ATI radeon 9250 soundblaster audigy 2 platinum thanks for any advice in advance.
please ignore this post. i had a nosey around some other WMP related posts and found out the answer... wasn't the same problem as the one i had, but the solution fixed it!! *if you have the problem above* check the "WMP playing in black and white* post a few pages back thank you admin, please delete this post if you feel the need
