Hi I have used this site before and have never been let down always get a quick and helpful response. I am sure that this is a silly question but I can not find the answer so here i go, everytime I insert a cd or dvd into my computer it pauses for a while and then automatically loads up windows media player. I want this to stop so I get the choice on what to do when I insert a disc, does anyone know how to stop this happening ?? I am running windows xp on a EI Syestem 4418. Double click My computer Right click on your optical device(s) Click properties Click on the autoplay tab The select your desired function Click OK and then close, do not just select the option and close. hope this helps..........
