when im trying to play avi video files in windows media player, all i get is the audio with a black background. when the player starts it says error downloading codec, the name of the video has a red exclamation mark next to it in the now playing list, i right click on it go on error details, then go on web help. when i get there it says this: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Media Player Error Message Help You've encountered an error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. Try instaling the K-Lite mega codec pack: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/k-lite_mega_codec_pack.cfm
I know its a codec pack, dobisskil was asking why they could'nt play there file, they installed the correct codec pack, and you tell us you use DivX? sorry josh99, but its just not relevant....
