OK, I have used and paid for this wonderful product called Windows Media Recorder. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to reinstall Windows XP like ten times. I have installed this on everything from a flash drive to an external hard drive. I even installed it to the C drive, but no luck there either! My firewall is Zone Alarm, the previous one I had was Nortons' Internet Security Firewall. I tried to e-mail customer service but "customer service is so yesterday" runs through my mind whenever I have a problem. Is there a regestry key I need to modify or what? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
If no help will come, I will just reinstall windows. Thanks again, but I kinda had the feeling that no one had any idea what I was talking about.
By the way, I found out the problem... I have Norton Internet Securities Firewall like I said. I went in to check the Program Control option and lo and behold, it was blocked from access to the internet! Needless to say, I unblocked it and wow. Now I have downloading serious megabytes of porn and haven't stopped. In fact, I'm downloading it right now. Cheers!
