Windows Media won't play .m2v videos!!!

    Hi, I read on this site that files ending in .m2v are infact an mpeg-2 but i don't know where to find the codec. i downloaded a few, but none of them work. how do i get my .m2v music videos to play?? PLEASE HELP!

    You are right M2V files are a video element of MPEG2 files. It is not a codec you require to playback this file it is a decoder and the best that i have used is the Sonic Cinemaster, this is my opinion. There are others such Nvidia, Cyberlink etc..
