I made several home movies on DVD with windows movie maker and Sonic DVD it. What I want to do is? Make the DVD with windows movie maker and be able to play it without hitting a menu/start button before it will play. Meaning, like when a back-up a dvd you can put it in the player and it will start when you hit the play button on your remote. My home movies have a menu screen first. I hit #1 on the remote to start. I don't want the menu screen. Is there a way or another program to burn WMV files other than DVD It which forces me to have a menu? I hope that makes sense.

Are you editing your Home movies in Movie Maker and then rendering the Project as a WMV File then useing DVDit to convert the WMV files to Mpeg2 for DVD??? You must also realize that WMV is a Very High Compression Low Quality format and you are Looseing a LOT of Image Quality rendering to WMV Format...I believe Movie Maker allso supports rendering to DV Format, this is a Much better format for image Quality than WMV but still Not the Best...You should consider useing a Real Video editing Program Like Vegas Video 4 or Adobe Premier which can render your Project directly to Mpeg2 for DVD which will produce MUCH better Quality than useing WMV...And You should be able to Use DVDit to Make a DVD without a Menu you set your Movie as the First Play item.....Cheers
PS: if you want a Real Editing Program then message me with your E-Mail and I"ll try to hook you up...Cheers
