    Hello,
My problem is that when I turn on my computer, it goes the windows logo screen (right before the logon screen) and then after a like thirty seconds it shuts down and repeats itself. I really dont want to reformat, but if that is the only option I guess I will have to.
    Thanks for the help.

This might sound childish but i had the same problem, and all i did was honestly let it sit for like a day and then it loaded up, i really dont know why, but dont reformat as of yet.

This is the time it pays to have a linux live cd, just so u can get windows runnin smooth again, without too much stress...u might wanna think about visiting linux.org and downloading one..i used one just to replace missing windows system files...and xp was runnin again...oh and em' many of them have a GUI all the more prettier than command Line...
