Windows Update error ?

    Ok so im having problems updating my windows .....every time i try to update i get this error

    ...i tired turning off my firewall and i tried reinstalling IE and my OS completely but i still get this problem....also tried searching for this error and all but still no luck :( hope someone can give me some advise.

    Make sure your date and time are set correctly. MS Update will throw an error if the date/time are off by a certain number of days.

    Are you behind any type of corporate firewall or anything? Or is this your home PC? I did a little more reading. That error tends to be related to blocked communcation between you and the MS update servers. If you are using a router, try eliminating it and connect straight to your internet source (dsl modem, cable modem, etc.)

    no im on a home pc, i turned off all my firewalls and my anti virus stuff etc...but i still get this stupid message...

    can you use your automatic update? try putting youe IE avanced settings default. put security setting to default and privacy to default. try that.

    Cool very nice is it the same as the IE updates ?
