    First my system specs:

    1GB Ram Kingston 533mhz

    ASUS P5WD2 Premium motherboard

    7800GTX by MSI

    600w powersupply

    Western Digital 80GB 7200 rpm 8mb cache

    Seagate 160GB 7200 rpm 8mb cache

    Lite-On Floppy drive

    NEC DVD-+R/W drive.

    ASUS CD-RW 52x

Okay my problem is when I install windows xp professional it set ups the files and then when it is about to go the option of where I want to install the OS the screen goes blue and says windows was shut down to prvent damage to files (or something similar to that).

Also I tried unhooking one of the drives and just using the other, but no luck, also tried installing the os on another computer and switch the hard drive back to the new one but when it is about to load windows it goes to the same blue screen and says the same thing.

Any help is welcomed and is thanked in advance.
