If you have your code you can use another persons windows x64 edition disk to install just use your key. And then make a ISO file of the windows x64 install disk and burn that.

try seeing if you can drag all of the files into a new folder on your computer, if you can do that, then you should be able to create a bootable image from there. Or make an image and extract, if posible.

    http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/winxp-sp2-bootcd.html
Go down to the part where it says "Creating a Bootable CD"

You can use whatever you want as the image name, if you cant extract the boot image then ill upload mine.

hi there, i did what it says on the site, but for some reason it still won't boot. i get a message at the post screen that says "non system disk etc." or it just acts as if there is nothing in the drive.
could it be the disk image, could it be corrupted
i have just about given up, not to mention that i have wasted about 10 cd's lol.
oh almost forgot when i go into windows, if i go to my computer it show's that the copy is in the drive and it has a windows icon. don't know if this helps
    thanks

I know that the tool UltraISO (http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/)should be able to make a ISO image of the Windows x64 install disc. You can then burn the ISO with basically any Disc Mastering Program. And I am building a pc do all of your apps from Windows XP (x32 bit) work on Windows x64? If so ill probably buy x6 as I purchased hardware that supports both x32 and x64. thanks.
