    Greetings,

    I am building a new system and I seem to be having a problem instaling Windows 64. I make it through the format, and windows successfully copies all files over to the harddrive. When it gets to the part when it is "Installing Devices", I get the blue screen of death. I have tried numerous times and keep getting the blue screen. The components of the computer that are hooked up are as follows:
    Motherboard: Abit KN8 Ultra v 1.1
    CPU AMD 64 3500+ socket 939
    Video Card: MSI rx300hm-tdi28e
    HD: Maxtor 6L200M0 sata
    DVD=RW drive
    Floppy

    Basically all that is plugged in at the moment are the essentials, and I still get the blue screen when its installing devices. I have successfully had the system up and running using windows xp 32 bit so it seems to be a problem with just the 64bit OS. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this or solve the problem?
    If you need more info about anything let me know.
    Thanks!

    Ok, after messing around with this for hours and doing a lot of reading, I think the problem is with the SATA harddrive. The motherboard came with a floppy that has NVRAID 64 bit drivers on it. Even though I am not using raid, do I use this disc to install the drivers for the SATA harddrive? Any help here is appreciated.
