windows xp keycode

    this is a piss off. my g/f's old computer fried, so i took her disc today to load windows xp as i've been using win 98.
    HER DISC NEVER CAME WITH A KEYCODE. It came installed, and the code wasn't included..... can anything be done? can i get another keycode?
    any helps is greatly appreciated, thanks!!
