    A portal cant brick your psp, it only would be able to write to Flash1 in any case, the psp main information is stored on the flash0

    Well, with the updated PSP, it comes with 64mb of ram, allowing it to run win98.

    By allowing, I mean meeting the minumun requirments

    Obviously you mean firmware 1.5, and yes it does. And as stated earlier this will work on absolutely any firmware you have.
