WINDOWS XP QUESTION

    hi if i get an athlon 64 can i use the windows xp pro that iv`e alraedy got or do i have to get a windows xp 64 edition

    NO!, dont go any near windows 64!!!, its SHITE!, you don't need it you'll be more then alrite to stay with xp pro, trust meeeh

    youll get no end of problems with 64 bit windows, just stick with pro

    That's good advice you've gotten so far but I'm curious. Is it that you just want to experiment with this OS since you're getting the new processor or is there a particular program you plan to use which you think requires the installation of this os.

    getting an athlon 64 3700 plus mobo etc in new case but with no xp on it got to install os on it just wanted to make sure the xp pro would run fine
