Ok ive tried to trouble shoot this a couple of ways (all simple) and still nothing so here is my problem... Everytime i burn a data dvd using windows 7 or Vista and take it over to my buddies house i can only read the first file on the disk all others wont work but if we stick the disk in my pc ps3 or DVD player (they are usually divx movies) All the files play right. So im not sure whats going on here. THe PC in question is Windows XP Service pack 2. I just downloaded the Service pack 3 and am going to install it as soon as i see my buddy again. Oh I am using the native DVD buring software.

It more than likely has nothing to do with the Operating system being used. What program are you using to burn the videos onto disc with?

Try using ImgBurn. When you open the program you will be given 6 burning options, choose Burn Files/Folder to Disc. And then select all the files you burned previously.
