    The sp1A update pack is the updated SP1 not the frist release of SP1 right?

    my brain is just not working today.

    Correct. SP1a is the same as SP1, without MS Java support.

    that doesn't tell me if its the newest update of SP1 that tells me its SP1 without java *L*

    There are only two releases of SP1. SP1, and SP1a.

    There are no other versions.
