Windows XP start menu playing up..

    Hi, i was wondering if anyone knew a solution to a problem i have with the start menu in Windows XP. When i right click in All Programs it will not open the menu. Also i cannot rearrange any of the programs listed. This all started after a dodgy shutdown - any ideas?
