Windows XP system restore

    hi... i have a windows xp running which does not have system restore option... how to add this? any software available for this?
    please help me...... thanks in advance...

    Right click on your My Computer icon and select Properties.
    Do you see a tab labled System Restore?

    No i am not seeing it...

    Go to Control Panel.
    Click on Administrative Tools and then click on Services. Do you see it there?

    moved to correct forum as it is a windows issue.

    thanks for reply...i am sure that this options i not located any where in my system.... is there any way that i can add this feature?

    It should be there already, unless you are running one of the infamous "Frankenbuild" varieties of a bootleg windows.
    try looking here for the system restore

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore
    If not there, then I'm amazed.
