Windows XP x64 Edition!

    i want to know if Windows XP Professional x64 Edition will work on my pc or no? what is this x64 edition? i have an intel p4 motherboard of 2.8ghz,1gb of ram,256 nvidia fx. i am running xp-home edition right now and i wanna know if this x64 edition is good or no.

    x64 is the 64bit version of Windows XP Professional. It will not install on 32bit systems. You'd have to be more specific with your system information. What exact Intel processor do you have?

    my motherboard is Biostar M7TDB Socket 478 ATX Motherboard. for further imformation please click this link http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=M7TDB-ACAXX-U&cat=MBB
    and my processor is intel(R) pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.4ghz........ if that helps u please let me know whether i can install winxp x64 edition or not..

    Socket 478 processors are all 32bit. x64 is not an option for that setup.
