hi im trying to make a dvd using windvd creator 2 My video source will be a mpeg video that is about 3 hours. I want to have several chapters of this video..how do i do that? do i have to split first the video to the specific chapers i want? or is t here an option to make chapeters from the video source?(obviously specyfing the time from start to end) if not. can some one tell me which software will it do it? thank you so much
Hi soulflyfg, Yeah, to get a chapter you need to split the clip at the point where you want the chapter. I have the opposite problem, I want to join clips to get rid of chapters. (If I record something from tv I want the chapters where "I", want them and not where the commercials are placed) I see you having a different problem though. You 3hr mpeg (I'm guessing it's about 4Gb) when processed, will probably turn out to be a 9Gb dvd which obviously won't fit on a disc, if that is your intention. If you only want to play the result you may be better DIVX'ing it. Just a thought!
