I am a filmmaker and one of the reasons I bought my new computer was to be able to burn DVDs of my films. It came with WinDVD Creator. I have uploaded my film and gone through the entire process, only to do the final step and be told, "Cannot complete burn process due to some error." I'm still wonderin which error in particular and how to fix it. I have scoured the net and emailed InterVideo, who make the software, but no replies. Who can help me?
The message is actually worded like that? It will be pretty hard to figure out if it doesn't tell you what the error is. If you don't here anything from intervideo and nobody else has had the same problem my only suggestion would be to try different software.
Yeah, that's exactly what it says, "due to some error." I may have to get new software because WinDVD Creator will not perform the function which is its sole purpose.
Have you tried using RW media (which has to be formatted with WinDVD Creator prior to burning)? I too have had problems with WinDVD Creator2!
Jeanfish, Thanks for the reply. Initially I tried to use DVD+R but after the warning from WinDVD Creator, I got DVD+RW, which it requires, but unfortunately got the exact same result. "Cannot complete authoring process due to some error." Since then, I got Adobe Encore DVD authoring software which is absolutely gorgeous--amazingly user-friendly but totally professional--you can use preset functions to make a fast and easy standard DVD or completely customize to author professional dvds.
