I just installed this card and am very happy with all the features, however, when I watch TV through my computer, the audio is slightly early. I assumed that this could be due to my cheap video card (G Force2 MX400 64MB) however, when I record to an AVI file the audio is in perfect sync. Any ideas why? Any answers would be appreciated.
Hi there. I had the Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP and had the same problem (my video card was the Ati Radeon 9000 Pro). I later replaced the Winfast TV Tuner card with the MSI TV-anywhere. I also got a new video card (GeForce4 TI4200) but i am still sitting with the same problem. Audio is slightly before Video. (out of sync). Can someone PLEASE help.
Yes I worked it out. I just right clicked on the TV screen and change the setting from Optimal quality to Normal quality....works a treat now.
way to go saucysan, but I'm still sitting with the problem. the quality change thing doesn't work for me. i installed Intervideo's WinDVR application (version 2) and the channels that was out of sync are now IN SYNC. one of the other tv channels are now out of sync. Maybe i should just get the ultimate in tv cards... a Pinnacle Systems based one or maybe Hauppage? hmmm...
I would suggest more research on Pinnacle, like checking out their forum section to see what kind of problems users are having with the products you are thinking about. I got the Bungee external unit advertized for converting analog and recording TV. I find that installing any other burning S/W corrupts the Bungee S/W. Also, audio goes out of sync after 10 minutes, and pinnacle CS won't answer my e-mails. I was just about ready to buy the Winfast TV 2000 when I read these posts.
