ok. rite. wen it comes to comes 2 computers am completely stupid. dno wot any of the technical terms or owt means lol so if anyone cud tell me simpley y win mx as suddenly stopped workin, or y limewire wont start up wen i click on it, i wud b very grate ful im on windows xp and i av a firewall.
Why don't you look through this forum. there are like 6 other winmx threads now, full of the reasons that it is shut. i don't know why your limewire isn't opening, i would suggest you re-install it. if you don't know where your installer file is, click 'my computer' click on the 'search' icon at the top then click 'all files and folders' under 'look in', make sure it says 'HDD' Then in the 'all or part of the file name' box, type in LimeWireWin then click 'search' then when it has been found, all you have to do is click it and follow the steps to install it again. ok i did as u sed with the re installing it, n the square just comes up in middle of screen as if it is about 2 cum on, but then just doesn't do anythin! any suggestions?...
have you used limewire before? have you configured the firewall to allow the limewire programme to run? Lethal
