I have a Liteon Super Allwrite (Mdl SHM-165P6S) using Neo Express (OEM) under Win/XP SP2. I have previously been succesful in buring both data and image dvd's until just now. About halfway through the burn process, I get a Burn Process Failed message. The last part of the Error Log reads:

    #18 WINPFILE 998 File CPortableWinPFile.cp, Line 339.
    Invalid access to memory location.

    C:\Documents and Settings\keith\My Documents\TempImage.nrg

    #19 TRANSFER - 25 File Reader.cpp, Line 382
    Error reading data

    #20 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 385
    Exception value: 998

    #21 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 228
    all writers idle, stopping conversion

    #22 Text 0 File DVDR.cpp, Line 3022
EndDAO: Last written address was 681855

    #23 Phase 38 File digbrnst.cpp, Line 1832
    Burn Process failed at 16x (22,160 KB/s)

    Existing drivers:
    File 'Drivers\atapi.sys': Ver=5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158), size=953660 bytes, created 8/3/2004 10:59:44 PM (Adapter driver for rec)

    Registry Keys:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs:0 (Security Option)

Any ideas on what is happening or what is causing the problem and any potential fixes or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
