I use Winrar and please dont reference me another program I would like to use this one so id you have a remedy please respond. My question is when i try to compress anything really Music files, software, programs they dont get much smaller then they were usually ive looked around to find a remedy but cant find a solution lets says for instance a 90MB file my winrar with default settings will maybe make it 86MB maybe not that exactly but not too much of a difference so any solutions anyone??
This is quite normal -- Pictures , Music files have little data in them to compress; they are RAW data that cannot be shrunk , the LeadIn and LeadOut streams are about all that can be squeezed! Same goes for some very tighly coded programs !
