Sorry to ask a question that has probably been asked here before... But I have got a WinRar file and the password won't work. Does anyone know a way around it??
sure, go to the place where you downloaded the file from and look for the commements on that file and it should tell you where you can get the pasword for that file or, it might even have it posted there, it is more thain likley a torrent file right ?
yep, quite right there Unfortunately the password doesn't work, as it fails half way through. I have tried a few Brute force crackers, but they're all limited to 3 characters unless I pay, whilst the password is 9 letters..
