Hello, I had zipped some of the files using a winzip. I had hit some password which i don't remember now. Is there any way I can unzip those files? Is there any way I can recover the password of zip file. Anyonw please give me some help on this. Thanks in advance.
Hello Praetor, Thankyou for your reply. I just downloaded advanced zip recovery, it is showing that it will take more than a year to unzip the password. It is a 10 lettered password. Regards
A year sounds about right Actually kinda short but given that you are only searching for 10 bit keys not unbelieveable. How long did you expect? Like i mean, it does have to check 3554598483394560 entries after all and that is assuming it is only looking for letters and numbers and no funky symbols. Throw in the basic symbol set and you need to crunch through 1171368248680556527616 entries. Now for the full out, unicode set you be talkin on the order of 1204203453131759529492480 possibilities.
