Ive had a Xecuter 2.6 Modchip and a v 1.0 xbox and im wondering... Should I do the wire install or get the solder out of the holes where you do the normal install?
I just use De-soldering braid and clean out the holes for V1's and install the pin header like the others.
you have a 1.0, why even install a chip? its a 1MB tsop and you only need to bridge to 2 points in all.. one on top and one on the bottom.. then flash..
Im just gonna get another xbox, because i was planning to put linux on it and i want one where i can do the pin header install, And to CademiaX: I already have the Xecuter 2.6 and it would be a waste if i didnt use it
