What kind of device are you using to connect to the router? And, how strong is the signal to this device?

Make sure that the adapter is not put into a position where it overheats, and check the adapters settings to make sure it constantly operates at full power.

Next check the router, make sure it is in a room that is is not around a television, or microwave or anything and that it is elevated on a desk or something.

Keep in mind, the walls in your house also degrade the signal.

Finally power off your router and computer for 30 seconds, and power the back on.
    And post back what happens
