Im using a Belkin wireless G PCI card & the connection keeps dropping.

Ive tried everything i know to fix this problem but it doesnt help.

In event viewer i found the following warning:

The system detected that network adapter Belkin...Wireless Card - Packet Scheduler Miniport was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers.

Just found another warning & errors in the event viewer:

The system detected that network adapter Belkin...Wireless Card - Packet Scheduler Miniport was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers.

The IP address lease 192.168.1.101 for the Network Card with network address 00173F28CD35 has been denied by the DHCP server 10.0.0.200 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 00173F28CD35. The following error occurred:
The operation was canceled by the user. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

Also when i am connected it says not connected in Wireless Network Connections & the Taskbar.

    Hey doug

Sounds like a malfunctioning wireless adapter/driver. You can try reinstalling the wireless driver on your computer, and if that doesn't work, you're gonna have to replace your adapter.

    Best Regards :D

I just noticed that i hadnt installed Updates from the Windows site.

I installed the update for the Wireless Update & it was fine for a while, but still get the same problem.

When im connected it says Not Connected & when im Not Connected it says Automatic.

After installing the Update it said Connected straight away but that soon dissapeared.

I still have a few updates to get but not sure which i need & if they would help.

Ive attached a couple of pictures of the updates to see if anyone can help.

    Hey doug

Hmmm.... looks like a wireless driver problem. Can you try downloading the wireless driver and reinstalling it?

I would recommend installing all of the High Priority updates and the Root Certificates update from the Optional Updates.

    Best Regards :D
