everytime i try to use my wireless on my laptop a message comes up sading:
The Intel Pro/Wireless Network Connection is still disabled. Use your hardware switch to enable it.

so i dont know what to do. I'm not sure whether this means a switch on or in the laptop itself or something else.

    any ideas?

check in your device manager to see if your netcard is disabled or not

theres a wireless setup in the control panel ,at the bottum of the page.try that set it to manual then restart, when the desktop comes back up on the right bottom you will see the network icon with a little yellow thing going back and forth click on that and it will say connect, connect and it should work.the only other thing i can think of is that you dont have a wireless network card installed in that nokebook and you have to go buy a wireless one [pci wireless network card]and put it in the notebook.older notebooks didnt come with a network card you had to buy seperate
