I ordered a generic wireless 5 button mouse. I would like to assign the left side button under my thumb to replicate the keyboard ESCAPE key. I would like this assigned fey to take me out of FULL SCREEN in order to see the system tray. I will be doing this from across the room. I will also be using the mouse in its normal manner closing pop ups and other boxes that interfere with the main content. How do I do this? Are the steps mouse specific?
Your wanting to "remap" the mouse if your looking for the term to use when web searching. Even ease of access doesn't have remap option. I assume the software that comes with mouse is useless ? i.e doesn't have remap. remapping https://duckduckgo.com/?q=remap+mouse+buttons+in+widows&ia=web
