    Hello Everyone.

I ve been expriencing some problems with my new wireless router. I recently (2 days ago actually) bought a US Robotics 9110 wireless router. Connected it to my desktop compture via ethernet. I made the nececary setup stuff, like my country and dsl password. Then connected to internet. Everything was OK. But i have a Laptop with wireless capabilities. I connected to my modem with my laptop computer. Because of leechers and attacker i wanted to enable WPA enctyption. When i enabled it, my laptop started losing internet connection. Everytime i connected, after a few minutes i lost connection. There's no such problem with WEP encryption. So ain't i going to be able to use WPA function in my laptop? (even though i also enabled MAC adress filter as a secondery security option i want to use WPA)

AND, my second and more importont problem is that my network is very very slow. I know that when you enable WPA/WEP encryption, MAC adress filtering, firewall (both routers and windows XPs), antivirus programmes; you network speed decreases. But this is beyon that. I mean how long can copying a 400 mb file (from desktop to ethernet to modem to laptop via wireless) take? It takes 120 minutes in my network. So what can i do about that?

    Here are my system specs:
Desktop: Amd Athlon XP, Up-to-date Windows XP SP2 with Avast antivirus
Laptop: Intel Centrino 1.86 Ghz, Up-to-date Windows XP SP2 with Avast antivirus
    Us Robotics 9110 Wireless Router

I hope Someone can help me with these 2 problems.

    Thank You..
