Hello, I have a computer on the second flor of my house. I also have on in the basement. I have high speed cable on the one on the second floor, what type of wireless do I need to connect the one in the basement to my current connection? Thanks
You probally want the new N style. I have G (linksys). I started out with router in basement and computer on second floor. I was having speed issues and had cable provider out and after 2 hours we wired it and it worked good. I now have the router on the second floor and the wireless adapter on first floor, working fine. You might be able to go down 1 more floor. I want to know why I cant get the wired one to work now. I just took my old(in use) ethernet card and put it in a new computer and I keep getting "limited on no connection" even though its no connection. kurt
