hi,need some help ,advice or any info if possible....at the min im using mobile broadband through the sierra 888 usb stick so that has been running ok but ive moved 5 mins down the road and the signal has weakened so im thinking of changing to something different with wireless internet but the problem is my wireless adaptors ain`t working at the min for some reason , i did ask for some advice over the phone but its difficult to get to the bottom of it when they aren`t very helpful and their usual solution is "you`ll have to reinstall windows" but that is a last resort cos i havent yet picked myself up any external hardrive and i have a lot of pictures/mucis/movies etc. on the computer so looking for alternatives just to try and get them working...it says in device manager under dell wireless 1397 wlan mini card(This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).......and then there are other adaptors there which i aint sure about ...6TO4 adaptor ,there are 4 of these and again under these it says(This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)......and there are a couple more adaptors coming up not working , an adaptor called isatap and another called marvell yukon pci-e fast enthernet adaptor so there are a few issues ,,,i have recently had problems with corrupted files and have sorted that in another thread in virus and trojans problems under pc software so i think ive come a long way in getting the lap top back in to a good working mode and its only a year old ,,i have a dell inspiron 1545 on vista so i just need any help if possible i know in the long run ill prob have to just wipoe the computer clean and reinstall windows but for now i just need some short term solutions , thanks

Try going to device manager and find your wireless card. Right click it and select Update Driver Software.

system restore puts windows back to earlier time, system recovery puts it back to factory defaults.
