Can anyone help this might be a stupid question but. When i backup my ps2 games the dvd decrypter gives me two files a iso file and a mds file. So witch one do i use.
The .ISO if burning to single layer media, the .MDS file if burning to Dual Layer media. (The .MDS file will properly set the "Layer Break".)
I'm a little confused with mds files and dual layer burning. How do we know ps2 games are burned using dual layer? Can we use a normal dvd or we need a special "dual layer" disc? Can we burn an iso using NERO therefore just forgetting about the msd file or is it really important to burn it with the msd. I'm wondering cuz the last games i copied didnt even have msd files, they just had an iso and i burned them with nero no problem. Now i got this one that contains an msd file. Should i burn with nero like i did in the past or use the msd file with dvd decrypter?
